Today, every pump user's nightmare: I entered 140 carbs instead of 140 mg/dl when I woke up. And I didn't catch it in time. 7 units of fast acting insulin. That's equivalent to about half of my daily food intake, all before breakfast. I quickly realized our end of vacation supplies are totally set up for lows here and there, but we have no major high GI staples for a fuck-up like this. No juice, maple syrup, bags of marshmallows, nothing. D was out so I quickly refreshed Henry on how to call 911, and started eating. I finished the muslix I had started, 2 cream-filled cookies, 2 black licorice sticks, a bite of a protein bar (that I had to spit out for fear of vomiting it back up), a hummus sandwich, and half a bag of sport beans.
I feel lucky, I bottomed at 47. It could have been worse. Now I'm awaiting the high that comes with that many carbs, regardless of how much insulin is on board.
It's our last day of vacation and I'm laying in bed, trying not to move for fear of throwing everything up, instead of playing in the ocean.

Ugh.
